This study examines the program’s implementation and impact in urban slums, where overcrowding, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, and socioeconomic barriers create significant challenges for accessing quality maternal care. By evaluating PMSMA’s reach and effectiveness in these areas, the study seeks to identify ways to enhance maternal health interventions and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in high-need urban slum populations.
